Hello!

My name is Sofía and I was born and raised in my favourite place in the world, Costa Rica. I decided to attend Fordham University in New York City in order to pursue my dream of having a career in media. During my time in school, I was  offered production internships in the industries of photography, television, film, and commercials. Once I graduated, I was grateful to have the opportunity to move to Los Angeles and work on competition television programs like Master Chef and America's Got Talent. Life eventually brought me back to Costa Rica where I worked in real estate, content creation, and also survived the crazy time that was the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout all of this, I have been lucky enough to work with high profile networks and brands  (NBC, CNN, Fox, Glamour, Nike, Chanel, Elle, GQ, etc...) 

The ever-changing nature of the world reminded me of the importance of following your objectives. For this reason, I attended the Cannes Film Festival with Embankment Films in 2022. I also decided to get my postgraduate degree in producing for television, video, and film. Currently, I am working on getting my Master's Degree from Met Film School in London. My goal as a producer is to one day tell my own stories about the female, Latin American, and human experience.
